Paul Vogel Named Adjunct Professor at the University of Missouri School of Law and Trulaske College of Business

Feb. 13, 2014 (ST LOUIS, Mo and COLUMBIA, Mo) – Family office Chief Executive Officer Paul Vogel has been named Adjunct Professor at two leading professional schools at the University of Missouri.

In addition to his role as CEO of Argos Family Office, LLC, Vogel is now Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Missouri School of Law and Adjunct Professor of Accountancy at the Robert J. Trulaske Sr. College of Business at the University of Missouri.

“We are pleased that Paul Vogel is serving as an adjunct professor for us this spring, teaching a course in Partnership Tax,” said Gary Myers, Dean of the University of Missouri School of Law.  “His expertise and practical knowledge in this field enable us to expand our course offerings in this important area of law.”

MU-logo-RGB-strokeWhile this is the first year Vogel has taught Partnership Tax, which is a joint Law and Graduate Accountancy class, it is not his first time teaching at his alma mater. Vogel taught both Basic Income Taxation and Spreadsheet Applications for four years in the College of Business while pursuing his graduate and law degrees from Mizzou. Vogel also currently serves as an Advisory Board Member for both the School of Accountancy within the Trulaske College of Business and the Tax and Transaction Law Society at the School of Law.

“It’s my pleasure to teach these bright students about Partnership Tax,” said Vogel. “It is vital for Mizzou students focusing in Taxation to be familiar with this area of the law given that so many companies are formed as Partnerships, and their individual partners need to be very thoughtful about what that means to their own personal tax situation. If donating my time and expertise to Mizzou allows this class to be offered, then I view it as time well spent.”
