Seeking to offer a family office with best-in-class service, Paul founded Argos Family Office with three client families in 2007. His vision: to assemble a team of talented tax, financial, business, real estate, insurance, philanthropy, wealth management and estate planning experts who – day in and day out – would collaborate closely on the needs of a select few families of significant wealth.
Working closely with Argos Family Office professionals, Paul is intimately involved in the details, plans and goals for each of Argos’ 10 client families.
Paul’s unique background in tax law, accounting and business enables him to identify opportunities for Argos families to create smarter plans for themselves, in some cases their businesses, and in all cases, future generations.
Prior to founding Argos Family Office, Paul founded and led Enterprise Trust, a division of Enterprise Bank & Trust. He also served as a practice leader of Arthur Andersen LLP’s Private Client Services group in Dallas/Fort Worth.
Paul received his LLM in Tax Law from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, his JD from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Law, and from the Truslaske College of Business at the University of Missouri, he received both his MAcc, Accountancy with an emphasis in Taxation, and his BSAcc in Accountancy.
In addition to serving as a Board member for both the Trulaske College of Business and the University of Missouri School of Law, Paul teaches “Partnership Tax,” a class for both law and graduate accounting students at the University of Missouri.
